Shisa are Okinawan guardian lion-dogs often placed at entrance gates to ward off evil. This one is part shark, and prowls the waters off the Ryukyu island chain. It is adorned with a traditional Okinawan Bingata pattern and 'mamoru' kanji (protect/guard) in eye. Available in warm gray.
